Hanukkiah [Black Chamotte]
Elene Pichkhadze explores symbols and Jewish art to uncover a unifying design language that connects geographically and historically dispersed communities. As part of the research, Elene began creating menorahs from clay, using “land” as both a material and a metaphor. This hands-on process became a meditative practice and a means of personal inquiry, prompting reflection on identity, heritage, and belonging.
