LADO LOMITASHVILI (b. 1994, Tbilisi, Georgia) is a multidisciplinary artist and architect based in Tbilisi. He graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts(TSSA) at the Department of Architecture and has studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven(DAE) in the Netherlands, specializing in Contextual Design. Lomitashvili's creative pursuits extend across various art forms and architectural decisions. He explores the interplay of materials, textures, and geometries, blurring the boundaries between different fields. He seamlessly blends architecture, product design, and visual arts in site-specific installations. Lomitashvili has undertaken research projects, participated in artist residencies, and showcased his works in exhibitions both in Georgia and abroad. In 2020, he founded STUDIOGYPSANDCONCRETE, focusing on architectural design, spatial concepts, and conceptual furniture.
